Software and app development for South African businesses, built to keep working when the power doesn't.
We build apps, online stores, software and AI automation for South African businesses and the agencies that serve them. Everything is designed for mobile data, patchy signal and load-shedding. You get a fixed quote in rand before work starts, weekly demos in SAST, and the source code once the work is paid for.
You came here because something has to work, every time.
Most South African businesses that reach us are in one of these four places. If one of them is yours, you are on the right page.
Your app breaks when the signal drops.
Field teams lose work in dead zones, and customers give up when the connection stutters. We build apps that save on the device, queue changes and sync when the network comes back.
Checkout is losing sales at the payment step.
Your customers want to pay by card or instant EFT, and your store offers one option that keeps failing. We connect the gateways South African shoppers know, such as PayFast, Yoco, Ozow or Peach Payments.
Your team still runs on spreadsheets and paper.
Orders, job cards and stock counts get retyped by hand. We replace the copying with one system, connected to Sage or Xero, that your whole team can use from a mobile.
Your agency sold more than it can build.
A client wants an app, a portal or an AI assistant, and your studio does brand and web. We become your engineering team behind the scenes, under your name.
What South African businesses need built.
The same team builds and supports every service below. Pick the one you came for, or describe the problem and we will tell you which fits.
Your own project, or the build team behind your agency.
Most clients hire us for a project. Agencies and studios hire us as the developers they do not have to recruit.
Get it built, tested and live.
You bring the goal. We scope it, quote it in rand and build it, then stay on for support if you want us to.
Hire us as your development team.
Digital agencies, design studios and consultancies use us to deliver the apps and platforms their clients ask for. Your brand, your client, your invoice.

The practical part: SAST, rand, contracts and POPIA.
Calls in South African time.
Weekly demos and calls are booked in your hours, South African Standard Time (SAST). Between calls, progress sits on a shared board you can check any time, and questions get a written answer within one business day.
Quoted and invoiced in rand.
A starting payment reserves the team, each payment after that follows a stage you have seen working, and the final payment falls at launch or handover. We accept bank transfer and major cards.
Your code, your IP.
A statement of work sets the scope, price and schedule. Once you have paid in full, you own the code, designs and content we made for you. We sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive.
Built for POPIA.
We design for the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) from the first week, and a Data Processing Addendum is available before we start. Access controls, encryption, audit logs and documented retention are standard, and we write them up so your Information Officer has what they need.

Tell us what you want built or fixed.
Tell us the goal and the deadline. If it is a fit, you get a written scope and a fixed quote in rand.
The people who would build it read it, not a sales team. If it is a fit, you get a written proposal with a timeline and a fixed price.

Do you work with businesses in South Africa?
Yes. We take on projects from South African businesses and work with clients on six continents from a fully remote team. Calls are booked in SAST, and quotes and invoices are in rand. Weekly demos show what was built, and progress sits on a shared board between calls.
How much does an app or online store cost, and how long does it take?
Every project gets a fixed quote in rand after a short discovery, so you know the full price before you commit. As a guide, websites take 4 to 8 weeks, online stores 6 to 12 weeks, apps and SaaS MVPs 10 to 20 weeks, and AI automation pilots 3 to 6 weeks.
Can you build apps that keep working through load-shedding?
Yes. We build apps that store data on the device, keep working without a connection and sync once power or signal returns. We also keep pages and downloads light for mobile data, and we test on slower networks and older handsets before launch.
How do you handle POPIA?
We design for POPIA from the first week. Personal information is collected for a stated purpose, protected with access controls and encryption, and kept only as long as you need it. A Data Processing Addendum is available before we start, and we flag early if something needs your legal adviser.
Who owns the code once the project is done?
You do, once the project is paid in full. That covers the source code, designs and content we created for you. We keep only the general tools and libraries we had before your project, and we sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive.
Can my agency white-label your work?
Yes. Agencies, studios and consultancies hire us as their engineering team for apps, platforms and AI builds. We work under your brand, sign NDA and non-solicitation agreements first, and never contact your client unless you ask in writing. Each project gets a fixed partner price.
Can South African founders join the Co-Founder Program?
Yes, if your company is registered in South Africa and you have a real market to sell into. We co-found three products a year, carrying 50 to 70 percent of the build cost in exchange for 10 to 15 percent equity. The full terms are in the published term sheet.
