Software development for New Zealand businesses, sized to the job and priced up front.
We build software, Xero integrations, online stores, apps and AI automation for New Zealand businesses and the agencies that serve them. You get a fixed quote in New Zealand dollars, a senior team that takes time to understand the job, and code you own once it's paid for.
You're here because the to-do list outgrew the team.
These four situations sit behind most searches like yours. If one fits, you're in the right place.
Your team spends hours re-keying into Xero.
Orders, invoices and timesheets get typed in twice, and mistakes slip through. We connect your systems to Xero so the data moves once, with a person approving anything that touches money.
You've outgrown off-the-shelf software.
The subscription app does most of the job, and workarounds cover the rest. We build the missing piece, or a custom tool that fits how your business actually runs.
Your online store can't keep up.
Stock, shipping and payments are held together with plugins and manual checks. We fix or rebuild the store so orders flow through without someone watching every one.
Your agency sold more than it can build.
A client wants an app, a portal or an AI assistant, and your studio builds brands and websites. We become your engineering team behind the scenes, under your name.
What New Zealand businesses ask us to build.
All seven services come from the same team. Describe the problem if you're not sure which fits, and we'll tell you honestly.
A project for your business, or the engineers behind your agency.
Most clients hire us for a project. Agencies and studios also hire us as the engineering team they don't have to recruit.
Get it understood, then built.
We spend time on the brief first, because that's where projects go right or wrong. Then we quote it, build it and stay on for support if you want.
Take on bigger builds without hiring.
Digital agencies, design studios and consultancies use us to deliver the software their clients ask for. Your brand, your client, your invoice.

What to expect: hours, money, paperwork and privacy.
Calls on New Zealand time.
Weekly demos and calls are booked in your hours, on NZST in winter and NZDT in summer. Between calls, progress sits on a shared board, and every question gets a written answer within one business day.
Quoted and invoiced in NZ dollars.
A starting payment reserves the team, then each payment follows a stage you've seen working, with the final one at launch. Pay by bank transfer or major card.
Your code, your IP.
A statement of work sets scope, price and schedule. Once you've paid in full, you own the code, designs and content we made for you. We sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive.
Built for the Privacy Act 2020.
We design for the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles, with access controls, encryption and audit logs as standard. Clear logs help you judge quickly whether a breach must be reported to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner. A Data Processing Addendum is available before work starts.
How a project runs, and what you receive at each stage.
We listen first, then build it properly.
Tell us about the job you need done.
Tell us the goal and the deadline. If it's a fit, you get a written scope and a fixed quote in New Zealand dollars.
The people who would build it read it, not a sales team. If it is a fit, you get a written proposal with a timeline and a fixed price.
A link to your current site or product, the result you want in a year, a rough budget, and anything a previous developer left behind.

Do you work with businesses in New Zealand?
Yes. Eric Wong of My Uni Education, an after-school tutoring business in Auckland, says we took our time to understand the project and delivered exceptional results. Their review is on our testimonials page. Calls are booked on NZST or NZDT, and quotes, contracts and invoices are in New Zealand dollars.
Can you connect our systems to Xero?
Yes. We build integrations that move invoices, orders, payments and timesheets between Xero and the tools you already use, such as Shopify, HubSpot or a custom app. Each sync is logged, and a person approves anything that touches money, so your team stops re-keying and your books stay tidy.
How much does a project cost, and how long does it take?
Every project gets a fixed quote in New Zealand dollars after a short discovery, so you know the full price before you commit. As a guide, websites take 4 to 8 weeks, online stores 6 to 12 weeks, apps and SaaS MVPs 10 to 20 weeks, and AI automation pilots 3 to 6 weeks.
Who owns the code and intellectual property?
You do, once the project is paid in full. That covers the source code, designs and content we made for you. We keep only the general tools and libraries we had before. We sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive, and the statement of work sets this out in writing.
How do you handle the Privacy Act 2020?
We design for the Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles from the first week. Access controls, encryption, audit logs and documented retention are standard, and a Data Processing Addendum is available before we start. Good logs help you decide quickly whether a breach must be reported to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Can my agency white-label your work?
Yes. Agencies, studios and consultancies hire us as their engineering team for apps, SaaS, AI and complex web builds. We work under your brand, sign NDA and non-solicitation agreements first, and never contact your client unless you ask in writing. Each project gets a fixed partner price in New Zealand dollars.
Can New Zealand founders join the Co-Founder Program?
Yes, if your company is registered in New Zealand and you bring a real idea, a marketing budget and 30 to 50 percent of the build cost. We co-found three products a year, carrying 50 to 70 percent of the build cost for 10 to 15 percent equity. Full terms are in the published term sheet.
