AI automation takes that work off your team, reliably, with the right checks in place. Frequently asked: Q: What is AI automation? A: AI automation uses artificial intelligence, including large language models and AI agents, to do business tasks that used to need a person: processing documents, answering enquiries, moving data between systems, and running multi-step workflows. The best versions keep a person in control of the decisions that matter. Q: How much does AI automation cost? A: Pilots are deliberately small and priced to prove their return within weeks. Typical starting points are in the low five figures. The audit comes first and puts a number on the expected savings, so you decide with the figures in front of you. Q: Which tasks should we automate first? A: High volume, rule-heavy and measurable workflows. That is where the quickest return is, and it is exactly how the audit ranks yours. The first pilot is usually something your team does every day and nobody enjoys. Q: Will AI automation replace our staff? A: In our projects it replaces tasks, not people. Teams put the saved hours into work that brings in revenue. We design the automation with your team, which is also why they actually use it afterwards. Q: Do you work with the tools we already use? A: Yes. We connect to CRMs, help desks, accounting tools, spreadsheets and internal databases through their APIs and standard integration platforms. You keep the tools your team knows. ### Generative AI Solutions URL: https://digitechnique.com/services/generative-ai/ A generic chatbot answers like the internet. A useful one answers like your best employee. We build generative AI systems grounded in your data, your tone and your rules, so the output is something you would put your name on. Frequently asked: Q: What are generative AI solutions? A: Generative AI solutions are custom software applications built on large language models that produce text, answers and content specific to one business. They include customer-facing chat assistants, internal copilots, content generation systems, and retrieval-augmented (RAG) knowledge systems that answer from a company's own documents. Q: How do you stop the AI making things up? A: By grounding every answer in your verified data, requiring citations, limiting the scope, testing against sets of known answers, and routing uncertainty to a person. Accuracy is measured before launch and monitored after it, not assumed. Q: Which AI models do you use? A: The right one for each job. OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini and leading open-source models, chosen on accuracy, cost, speed and data residency requirements. You are never locked to one provider. Q: How long does a generative AI project take? A: A grounded assistant built on existing documentation usually reaches a working pilot in 4 to 6 weeks. Production hardening, testing and roll-out follow, with the full timeline set out in the fixed quote. Q: Is our data safe? A: Yes. Your data stays yours, trains no public model without your explicit choice, and is handled under the privacy rules that apply to you. We can host in a region of your choosing and provide a Data Processing Addendum before work starts. ### SaaS Development URL: https://digitechnique.com/services/saas-development/ Building a SaaS product is a series of traps disguised as decisions. Over-building the MVP. Under-building security. Choosing an architecture that cannot scale. Launching with no plan for finding customers. Sixteen years of shipping taught us where every trap is. Frequently asked: Q: What is SaaS development? A: SaaS development is the design, building and running of software that customers use through a browser or app and pay for by subscription. It covers the product itself, plus sign-in, billing, multi-customer architecture, security, hosting and the analytics needed to grow it. Q: How much does SaaS development cost? A: A production-ready MVP usually starts in the mid five figures and rises with scope. You get a fixed, itemised quote after discovery, so the number is known before work starts. The Co-Founder Program is an equity-based alternative for founders who qualify. Q: How long does it take to build a SaaS MVP? A: About 90 days from kickoff to a launchable MVP for a well-scoped product, with a working demo every week along the way. Larger or more regulated products take longer, and the fixed quote sets out the exact timeline. Q: Do you build AI features into SaaS products? A: Yes, as standard. Grounded assistants, automation and intelligent workflows are designed alongside the core product rather than added afterwards, using the model best suited to each feature. Q: Who owns the code? A: You do, in full, once the project is paid for. Source code, designs and accounts are handed over with documentation. In Co-Founder Program builds, ownership is set out in the term sheet, and the company we both own holds the product. Q: Can you take over an existing SaaS codebase? A: Yes. We review the code first and report honestly on what we found, then stabilise, document and extend it. If the previous work is sound, we say so. ### Software Development URL: https://digitechnique.com/services/software-development/ Off-the-shelf tools make your business bend around them. Custom software bends around your business. When the spreadsheets creak, when two systems refuse to talk, or when your process is your advantage and no vendor sells it, that is when to call us. Frequently asked: Q: What is custom software development? A: Custom software development is the design and building of software tailored to one organisation's specific workflows and goals, rather than adapting a generic off-the-shelf product. It usually includes integrations with the systems a business already uses. Q: When does custom beat off-the-shelf? A: When your process is your competitive advantage, when the pain of integrating generic tools costs more than the licences save, when you have outgrown a platform, or when per-seat pricing has quietly become your biggest software bill. Q: Do you maintain software you did not build? A: Yes. After a code review and an honest written report, we regularly become the long-term custodians of systems other teams built. We fix what needs fixing and leave what works alone. Q: Which technologies do you use? A: Mainly TypeScript, Node.js, Python, React, Next.js and PostgreSQL on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure. The full list is on our Technologies page. The stack serves the problem, never the other way round. Q: How much does custom software cost? A: It depends entirely on scope, which is why discovery comes first. Smaller internal tools start in the low five figures. Larger platforms are quoted in phases. Every quote is fixed and itemised before work starts, and you own the code at the end. ### App Development URL: https://digitechnique.com/services/app-development/ Most phones hold a graveyard of apps opened once. Keeping people is the whole game, and it is designed, not hoped for: fast first value, honest notifications, and an experience that respects thumbs and time. That is what sixteen years of product work taught us to build. Frequently asked: Q: What does mobile app development include? A: Mobile app development covers the design, building, testing and launch of applications for iOS and Android, either natively or with a cross-platform framework, plus the backend services, store submission and post-launch updates that keep the app working and growing. Q: How much does app development cost? A: Cross-platform MVPs usually start in the mid five figures. Complex native builds cost more. Every quote is fixed and itemised after discovery, so you know the number before work starts. Q: Native or cross-platform: which should we choose? A: Cross-platform (React Native or Flutter) suits most business apps and stretches the budget across both stores. Native wins when you need deep hardware access or platform-specific performance. We recommend per case and show you the cost difference. Q: How long does it take to build an app? A: A typical MVP takes 10 to 16 weeks from kickoff to store submission, with a working build to try every week along the way. Store review adds a few days at the end. Q: Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission? A: Yes, end to end: listing copy, screenshots, compliance with review guidelines, and support on launch day. If a store rejects something, we fix it and resubmit. Q: Do you update apps after launch? A: Yes. Operating system updates, new features and improvements run under a straightforward monthly care plan, with no long lock-in. ### Web Design & Development URL: https://digitechnique.com/services/web-design/ A website has to earn trust twice. People judge it in under a second: clear, fast, credible. Then AI engines and agents read it to decide whether to recommend you. We design and build for both, and we have been building for the web since 2010. Frequently asked: Q: What does web design and development include? A: Web design and development covers the planning, design, build and launch of a website: the look and structure, the content system behind it, speed and security, search engine and AI readiness, and the training you need to run it yourself afterwards. Q: How much does a website cost? A: Business websites usually start in the low four figures. Larger and custom builds scale with scope. You get a fixed, itemised quote after a short discovery call, so the price is known before work starts. Q: How long does a website take? A: Most business websites take 4 to 8 weeks from kickoff to launch. You approve a clickable design before any development begins, so there are no surprises at the end. Q: Will the website be optimised for AI search like ChatGPT? A: Yes, by default. Structured data, server rendering, answer-shaped content and llms.txt make every site we ship readable and quotable by AI engines, alongside classic SEO. Q: Can we edit the website ourselves? A: Yes. You get a straightforward content system, training and written documentation. Being able to run the site without us is part of what we deliver. Q: Do you redesign existing websites? A: Constantly. Every redesign starts with a performance and search review, so improvements are measured rather than guessed, and your rankings survive the move. ### eCommerce Development URL: https://digitechnique.com/services/ecommerce-development/ We have built online stores since 2010, from fashion (Baho Lani) to fine jewellery (Kappy's, Moissanite Diamond) to wellness products shipped worldwide (Gauri Ayurveda, Yatan Ayurveda). The lesson from all of them: stores are won in the details. Load time. Product data. Checkout friction. Trust signals. Repeat purchases. Frequently asked: Q: What is eCommerce development? A: eCommerce development is the design, building and launch of an online store, including the product catalogue, checkout and payments, shipping and tax rules, integrations with inventory and accounting, and the search and AI readiness that brings customers to it. Q: Which eCommerce platform is best? A: It depends on your catalogue, margins and plans. Shopify wins on speed and simplicity, WooCommerce on flexibility and ownership, headless on scale and unusual requirements. We recommend after understanding your numbers, and we build all three. Q: How much does an online store cost? A: Platform stores usually start in the mid four figures. Custom and headless commerce runs into five figures and beyond. Every quote is fixed and itemised before work starts. Q: Can you migrate our store without losing search rankings? A: Yes. Redirect mapping, data checks and a staged cutover are standard in our migration checklist, refined over sixteen years of platform moves. Rankings are tracked before and after so nothing slips unnoticed. Q: What does "product data AI can read" mean? A: It means your product information is structured so AI assistants and shopping agents can accurately read, compare and recommend your products: schema markup, clean specifications, and pricing and availability in a machine-readable form. ## Country coverage ### United States URL: https://digitechnique.com/us/ Senior engineers for US businesses and agencies: AI automation, SaaS, apps, websites and online stores. A fixed quote in US dollars and calls in your time zone. Q: Do you work with businesses in the United States? A: Yes. We have worked with US clients since 2010, including a fine jewelry brand in Florida and a remodeling company in Arizona, whose reviews are on our testimonials page. Calls run in your time zone, Eastern through Pacific, and contracts and invoices are in US dollars. Q: How much does a software project cost, and how long does it take? A: Every project gets a fixed quote in US dollars after a short discovery, so you know the full price before you commit. As a guide, websites take 4 to 8 weeks, apps and SaaS MVPs 10 to 20 weeks, and AI automation pilots 3 to 6 weeks. Q: Why hire you instead of a US-based agency? A: The engineers you meet are the ones who build your project, at rates usually well below comparable US agencies, with the price fixed up front. We are not in your city, so we make up for it with calls in your hours, weekly demos and a shared board you can check any time. Q: Who owns the code and the intellectual property? A: You do. Once the project is paid in full, you own the source code, designs and content we created for you, and we transfer our rights to you. We keep only the general tools we had before your project. We sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive. Q: Can my agency white-label your work? A: Yes. US agencies, studios and consultancies hire us as their engineering team for AI, SaaS, app and complex web builds. We work under your brand, sign NDA and non-solicitation agreements first, and never contact your client unless you ask in writing. Each project gets a fixed partner price. Q: How do you handle HIPAA, CCPA and other US data rules? A: We design for them from the first week. Access controls, encryption, audit logs and documented data retention are standard, and a Data Processing Addendum is available before we start. Tell us early if you handle health, financial or California consumer data, and we will say plainly if a requirement needs a specialist. Q: Can US founders join the Co-Founder Program? A: Yes, if your company is registered in a US state and you have a real market to sell into. We co-found three products a year, carrying 50 to 70 percent of the build cost in exchange for 10 to 15 percent equity. The full terms are in the published term sheet. ### United Kingdom URL: https://digitechnique.com/uk/ Senior software, app and AI developers for UK businesses and agencies. A fixed quote in pounds sterling before work starts, and calls booked on UK time. Q: Do you work with businesses in the UK? A: Yes. We work with clients on six continents and run UK projects on UK time, with calls booked on GMT or BST. Quotes, contracts and invoices are in pounds sterling. You can reach us through the enquiry form or the booking page. Q: How much will my project cost, and how long will it take? A: You get a fixed quote in pounds after a short discovery, so you know the full price before you commit. As a guide, websites take 4 to 8 weeks, online stores 6 to 12 weeks, apps and SaaS MVPs 10 to 20 weeks, and AI automation pilots 3 to 6 weeks. Q: What happens if the scope changes halfway through? A: You see the cost before anything changes. Each change gets a short written note with its price and its effect on timing, and we only build it once you approve. Everything else stays at the original fixed quote, so the final invoice holds no surprises. Q: Who owns the code and intellectual property? A: You do, once the project is paid in full. That covers the source code, designs and content we made for you. We keep only the general tools and libraries we had before your project. We sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive, and the statement of work sets all of this out in writing. Q: How do you handle UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018? A: We design for both from the first week, and the ICO is the regulator we have in mind. A Data Processing Addendum is available before work starts. Access controls, encryption, audit logs and documented retention are standard, and international transfers use recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum. Q: Can my agency white-label your work? A: Yes. Agencies, studios and consultancies hire us as their engineering team for apps, SaaS, AI and complex web builds. We work under your brand, sign NDA and non-solicitation agreements first, and never contact your client unless you ask in writing. Each project gets a fixed partner price, and there's no minimum commitment. Q: Can UK founders join the Co-Founder Program? A: Yes, if your company is registered in the UK and you bring a real idea, a marketing budget and 30 to 50 percent of the build cost. We co-found three products a year, carrying 50 to 70 percent of the build cost for 10 to 15 percent equity. A: You do, wherever your company is registered. Once the project is paid in full, you own the source code, designs and content we made for you. We keep only the general tools we had before your project, and we sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive. Q: Which data protection law applies to us, the PDPL or the DIFC law? A: It depends on where your company sits. DIFC companies follow the DIFC Data Protection Law, DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020, while most other Dubai companies fall under the federal PDPL. We design for the right one from the first week, and a Data Processing Addendum is available before work starts. Q: Can my Dubai agency white-label your work? A: Yes. Once the project is paid in full, you own the source code, designs and content we made for you. We keep only the general tools and libraries we had before your project, and we sign your NDA before you share anything sensitive with us. Q: How do you handle the UAE PDPL and DIFC or ADGM rules? A: We design for them from the first week. Most UAE companies fall under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, while DIFC and ADGM companies follow their own data protection laws.
